On 27th February 2023, as a part of an advocacy series under the South Asian Assessment Alliance project, Galli Galli organized an orientation program on Citizen Led Assessment (CLA) for civil society organizations working in the education sector at The Village Cafe in Jhamsikhel. 15 participants from 11 different CSOs participated in the program. The purpose of the event was to increase the access and availability of learning assessments among CSOs so that they would use CLA in their project areas for improving children’s learning.
The program became a learning and networking event for the participating CSOs. The participants had increased knowledge of citizen-led assessment, foundational learning assessment tools, how to use assessment tools, and how they can use the data collected from CLA for informed decision-making.
